Set amidst ancient private woodland and landscaped gardens overlooking the River Clyde, our historic estate — home to the Clan MacMillan for five generations — offers an exclusive and truly Scottish setting for your celebration.

At Finlaystone, we specialise in hosting elegant, bespoke private weddings that blend heritage, romance, and refinement. We offer different options depending on the size of your party and your own imagination which can be tailored as you wish so the overall price will vary.
Below is an overview of our venue hire options and starting prices. Each option includes exclusive use of the chosen space, allowing you the freedom to create your own bespoke celebration with your preferred marquee, catering, and other suppliers which can be sourced through us or by yourselves.

1. Main House — perfect for intimate ceremonies, elegant drinks receptions, or smaller seated dining experiences.
   1. Ceremony (max 100 seated guests) and/or Drinks Reception (max 250) – From £2,950 — includes exclusive use of reception rooms, pre-wedding coordination, and photography access across gardens and lawns.
   2. Seated Dining in the House (up to 50 guests) – From £3,950 — includes access to the dining room, drawing room, and terrace for drinks. Catering and bar service arranged by us or via preferred suppliers.
2. Formal Front Lawn (50-400 guests in marquee) From £4,250 – our grandly sited front lawn overlooks the River Clyde and is perfect for large marquee weddings and outdoor receptions. Includes: Exclusive lawn access, power & logistics coordination, access for marquee build and breakdown days. Extras: Marquee hire, bar hire, catering and decor and other suppliers.
3. Walled Garden Venue Hire (40-150 guests in marquee) – From: £3,950 (includes access to gardens, power supply, and coordination for setup day before and breakdown the day after). Extras: Marquee hire, bar hire, catering, decor and other suppliers.
4. Accommodation
   1. Main House: Bridal Suite £450
   2. Main House Accommodation rooms for up to 11 family/friends
   3. On the Estate: Beautifully appointed Barns at www.finlaystonecottages.co.uk from £90 per night (min 2 nights stay)
